Synchronicity & the numinous

Synchronicity is Jung’s name for a meaningful coincidence — an inner state and an outer event linked by meaning rather than cause. He saw it as a hint that psyche and world are more entangled than we assume.

Such moments often carry a numinous charge: awe, a sense of being addressed. They are worth noticing, not forcing.
